Hey All,

Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University - San Antonio, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I will continue learning that the institutions we move in are built upon hierarchical and oppressive systems.

My background is in singing and dancing which has brought me to the present moment of body work and breath. Everyday is a reminder of how intertwined our daily activities, our breath, and the body is, on top of the systems and institutions we navigate.

My hope is to apply what I learn from community, school, and you the client so as to practice preventative body therapeutics with those who are ready. So that they may start and/or continue their self healing journey .

The Collective Approach

We are siloed from one another, not only at the individual level but also as groups (think institutions.) In being siloed we miss key factors that tell the bigger story a person, a community, and a culture moves with. When we do not communicate and we do not put our own egos to the side we miss meeting the client where they are in that present moment.

My goal is to start a body therapeutic co-op that is integrative with other health modalities in order to serve and work with and by communities that have been historically marginalized and exploited due to harmful and oppressive systems.

Moving away from hyper individualism. I am forever a student.

Next Level Pain Relief

Currently I am enrolled in the apprenticeship program with Robert Gardner in Austin, TX. Applying the Thai mat-based techniques into the practice.

Ashi Dojo

Alyssa Flores introduced Ashiatsu to me back in 2013, then a client. Fast forward to 2021, and I took her Ashiatsu Deepfeet 1 Basics course, now a practitioner. Massaging with my feet, is a BIG difference from hands.
